We hired Golan to help us with our 3 year old rescue pit-mix dog. He was either timid or aggressive with other dogs and strangers, and had other behavior issues that we didn't know how to address. By the end of 8 sessions with Golan, we and our dog had made tremendous progress. Our dog is now friendly with people he doesn't know, and is open to meeting most other dogs. He is also walking better on a leash, and Golan has given us many tools and techniques that we can use going forward to continue to better socialize our pup. We are very pleased with how the training went, and would heartily recommend Golan for anyone who needs help with their dog.

My husband and I got our golden retriever puppy, Milo, at 12 weeks old. While he was such a cute and sweet puppy, he was also an ankle biter! We knew we wanted to eventually get puppy training for Milo, but the ankle biting certainly sped up the process. We did a lot of online research into both group and personal training and Golan by far had the best reviews. We contacted him immediately and had our first puppy training a few days later. The first few sessions were mostly training for my husband and me, talking us through the fundamentals of puppies, how they learn, and the dos and don’t of how to correct them, which was an essential foundation for the rest of our sessions. The latter half of our training focused on leash walking, socialization at dog parks, and various commands. Milo loved Golan from the first session and was always happy to see him. We are incredibly happy with the training and difference in Milo from the start of training to now is incredible. If you are considering investing in personal training with Golan, we 100% recommend doing it. Using Golan for puppy training was the best investment we could have made for our puppy!

He has a deep understanding of canine behavior and communication, and he knows how to create meaningful change—without relying on unnecessary tools.
