I have a 9 year old galgo (Spanish greyhound) I would like to have come to me on command. I have had her 3 years and have tried unsuccessfully. Some of the challenges are that she is not food motivated and she is very shy. Is it worth the effort?
Yes, it is worth the effort. Food is not the only motivator. Recall exercises begin in the house and progress to the yard and then to walks. With an effective plan, you can definitely help your pup to respond to your cues and even to become more confident.

Zooming a dog training class is easy and very effective. Glen has lots of experience training dogs, using a gentle but effective method without harshness to the dog. I highly recommend this trainer.
Glenn gave us great advice over Zoom on how to train a new rescue dog with some behavioral challenges. He was fun to speak with and incredibly knowledgeable, using helpful examples and anecdotes to illustrate his instructions.
Glenn is the best! He is kind, thoughtful, patient and reliable. We did a virtual class with him and our puppy Sadie, and it was fantastic. Can’t recommend them enough.

We have been working with Glenn and Judy since July of 2019. Layla our cockapoo started with home visits at 10 weeks and shortly after progressed to basic companion and intermediate companion training. We were about to finish her intermediate classes when the pandemic arrived and life changed, as it did for so many. My husband and I reached out to Glenn and Judy to inquire about completing her training virtually. Their response was immediate and before we knew it our training was complete via Zoom. So easy. We were well prepared with questions and Glenn guided us through each one giving us multiple strategies to complete our training. Our long term goal is for Layla to become a Therapy Dog. We will continue to utilize virtual training to prepare Layla for her Canine Good Citizen Test. We can't express in words our deepest appreciation for the training we and Layla received with Glenn. We have a well mannered dog that everyone who meets her falls in love Virtual pet training is an amazing alternative. We strongly encourage people to sign up!
