GET K9 Training

We originally sent our Corso pup to the 3 week training and were blown away with the skills and manners she came home with. We were sent home with all the tools to continue her training at home. Our family and friends are very impressed when they come over and see how well behaved she is. Since then we have also sent her back to do stay and plays and when we go out of town she goes back for boarding. Jenzi is so knowledgeable and caring and I would recommend this company to anyone looking for training. Thank you for all you have done with our princess!

Jenzi is amazing! We did some research and picked ‘Get K9 Training’ after consulting with Jenzi. Their approach to training is exactly what we were looking for: loving but firm. We brought ‘Get K9 Training’ our new Rottweiler puppy, and with Jenzi’s help, we have the perfect family dog! We get comments all the time about how well-behaved or dog is: the groomer, the vet, our neighbors, and even strangers! So happy we used ‘Get K9 Training’! We love them so much, we take our dog back for boarding! Our dog is always happy to be there! Highly recommend ‘Get K9 training’!

We had an amazing experience with the GET K9 board-and-train program! From the very beginning, our trainer Jenzi was professional, knowledgeable, and genuinely cared about our dog Fynn’s well-being. Throughout the training, we received updates, photos, and progress reports that gave us complete peace of mind. The transformation in our dog has been incredible. We noticed major improvements in obedience, leash manners, focus, and overall confidence. Jenzi took the time to understand our dog's personality and tailored the training to fit his needs. When our dog came home, the transition was smooth because Jenzi thoroughly explained how to maintain the training and set us up for long-term success. We have had an absolutely incredible experience with Jenzi! I spent a lot of time researching different training programs for our new puppy, and hers immediately stood out from the rest. We ultimately chose the 3-Week Board and Train Puppy Package for our Anatolian Shepherd mix, and the results have been truly remarkable — even just one week after she came home. In only three weeks, our puppy Penny has developed so many wonderful manners and foundational skills - walking in heel position on a leash, sit, place, down, behaving in her kennel, playing with other dogs in a nice manner, behaving in public settings. It’s clear how much time, expertise, and genuine care Jenzi pours into her training. Even after returning home, Penny continues to build on everything she learned, and we feel so much more confident as owners because of it. We couldn’t be happier with our decision and are so grateful we found Jenzi. As an added bonus, we’re excited to take advantage of her exclusive Stay n Play Day camps for Board and Train graduates. I am leaving this review after having sent a second Cane Corso to Jenzi for dog training. Jenzi’s board and train services were recommended by my breeder because of her extensive experience training guardian breeds like the Corso. Fortunately, this business was nearby in Peoria. Jenzi's knowledge of all dog breeds is what really sold me. Jenzi is aware that all dogs have different instincts and training needs. My dogs did not have any aggression concerns, but they do have intense defense drive and that’s what I needed help with. I had no idea what an off-switch was, but Jenzi put that work in too and WOW! did that help create a calm in my house that I didn’t realize was missing. Jenzi's training (both canine and human) is top-notch. I didn’t expect to be personally trained myself, but that was a bonus and I feel it now makes me a better dog handler and owner. Communication is excellent. I am quite the nervous Nelly when it comes to leaving my dogs with anyone. I appreciate the many photos I regularly receive updating me about my dogs’ and their progress. I brought my first Corso to Jenzi in 2020 and have taken her back many times for boarding (bonus refresher training!). I feel fortunate to have a trainer I trust and feel comfortable reaching back out to for continued training support.
