Gentle Dog Training

Lisa annd Mike were absolutely fantastic! We reached out to Lisa for help with two of our dogs. Both are very sweet, but one struggled with fence aggression and would go after lawn mowers and weed eaters whenever neighbors did yard work. Our other dog, who came from an abusive past, was fearful of men and reactive in certain environments. On top of that, both were strong leash pullers. They tailored their approach perfectly. One of our dogs did a board-and-train with them, while Lisa worked with the other in our home. The results have been amazing—our dogs are calmer, more responsive, and no longer react to their old triggers the way they used to. Even more importantly, they gave us the tools to understand and work with them better. We couldn’t be happier with the progress, and we’re so grateful for the difference Gentle Dog Training has made for our dogs and our family.

We sent our two, 11 month old Goldens to Lisa and Mike at Gentle Dog Training and sooo happy we did!!!! Penny and Bruce grew up pretty timid and scared of cars, loud noises, and didn’t care to listen 😂. We just got Penny back and the difference is amazing. She is easily walking on a leash when before she’d be so scared of cars, she comes when she’s called, she knows her “place” and so much more. We are SO impressed. And all the pictures and videos Lisa sends makes the long time without them go by faster. Excited to see Bruce next week!
