Gentle Canine Training

We have an Adopted 2 year old Black Mouth Curr that must have been treated very badly. She is afraid of everything and was aggressive when someone came to visit. After 1 - 1hr session, I am able to put a Leash on her and walk her around. After the 2nd 1hr Session, I was able to have her Sit, and Stay until I called her. I am able to take her and our other dog for a walk down our Road passing another person walking (someone we know) without her showing any care if that person was there or not. I hired Gentle Canine Training because she had bitten a friend of ours in our yard and wanted to try to get her help. After the 3rd 1hr Session, I was able to have the same person she bit come over without her being aggressive. I have 5 more Sessions left to go and know she will greatly benefit from his Training. I would highly recommend Gentle Canine Training to anyone in need. P.S. I must also state that I had previously hired a different Trainer just to help me with her being scared to come into the House. All he did for the Hour was Show us how to feed her Chips (Which we, of course already knew how to do). I had no trust in Trainers ability to train her until Gentle Canine Training. Update: After 4 1 hrs Sessions, I was able to have a party at my house people coming and going. Ruby (The Dog being trained ) only barked once, and I was able to easily stop her. Robert ( The Gentle Canine Trainer) knows what he is doing. My Wife and I both agree he is the best Dog Trainer.

Robert is professional and personal. He works with you where you are, and helps you understand why certain things are done and why they are important. I couldn’t even take my dog out on a walk before, now I can take my dog out in public and not have to worry about him freaking out or running off. I’ve had bad experiences with dog trainers in the past, and by far he’s one of the best and friendliest I have ever met. He doesn’t expect all dogs to start off the same, and helps figure out how to work with your dog instead of expecting every dog to be a cookie-cutter case. He’s extremely patient and I would definitely recommend him.
