Garden State K9

Petee and I learned so much in the past months of classes with this program. Each month we were tested and each level built on the previous knowledge. The instructors know their stuff and show different ways to get the outcome you want in your dog. It is always positive with no yelling at either the owner or dog which was a wonderful change from what we had previously . I highly recommend this program and so does Petee!

One of the best things we could of done for our family of 7 dogs.my girl is 110 lbs of Canadapresa and she is the Alfa female of 5 females, I was about to give her up until I was sent to Garden state sat down with Mike and he said I have the trainer for your dog Brian he took my girl and gave back to a 100% different dog I still can’t believe what he gave back to us.he also keep me updated on her training and sat down with my wife and myself going over how to take over what he started and how to make changes in my home that’s good for her and the rest of the pack. Money well spent with a pure professional organization I can’t thank them enough now I just set up another dog for Brian to train

I’m so grateful to Melissa M, Mike, and the entire team at Garden State K-9 for the care, patience, and dedication they’ve shown my dog, Chester. I started with private sessions to work on his reactivity and basic obedience. Chester is a rescue and over time he became more aggressive towards strangers, barking, lunging, and escalated towards biting the hand of a family member. At the time, I felt constantly stressed and worried about having people over or even taking him out in public. Mike was always calm, knowledgeable, and supportive, and I left each session feeling more confident and in control. After seeing such great progress, I enrolled Chester in two weeks of day training, where he worked with Melissa M. Dropping him off those first few days was nerve-wracking, but I noticed a difference almost immediately. The end of week private sessions made it so easy to continue the work at home without feeling overwhelmed! Within a week, I was able to take him to coffee shops and walk through busy areas with confidence. He’s calmer, more focused, and clearly more comfortable in the world. By the end of the second week, we were working on recall along with other things and now I’m able to see a future where I can have him off leash (something I never imagined before)!! Now we are headed for urban day camp for a week and I couldn’t be more excited to continue!! I only wish I had done this sooner. I truly can’t thank Garden State K-9 enough for everything they’ve done for us, and I will be forever grateful for their kindness and support.
