Dogs are our passion! We love sharing our knowledge and experience with dog families. Our trainers have led group classes and private sessions in the Gainesville community for nearly 20 years, helping teach dogs of all ages how to be better family dogs, therapy dogs, and service dogs.

Working with Michelle and Sam to get Buddy trained as my husband's service dog was a fantastic experience! They are so kind, considerate and patient. They would not move forward until they were absolutely sure that Buddy had mastered the skills needed to assist my husband, Ken, who suffers from PTSD. My husband is now able to go places without being hyper vigilant. He relies on Buddy for this instead. They even made sure that he was trained in the airport to prepare us for our upcoming trip to Wales. Their time and effort is PRICELESS!!!!

Sam and Michelle were amazing to work with. They are so encouraging and knowledgeable. My nervous Pittbull became so confident with their help and we were set up for success to pass the CGC. Absolutely recommend them!

The best dog training experience i have ever had. For reference, ive had 3 different trainers and none of them have even come close to the difference in my dogs behavior from only 5 training sessions. Sam and Michelle both have incorporated expert advice to working with my dog better but, even more importantly, they showed me in real time that I can have a better relationship with my dog. Not only am I closer than I have ever been with my sweet butterball but shes actually listening to me. I cannot recommend GCA enough.

I highly recommend Gainesville Canine Academy. I hap appointments w both of my dogs individually as they both were in different places in their training. The strategies we learned were easy to carry over to at home training. The learning was turned in to a game so it was enjoyable for all.
