FirstBarkWe recently adopted a puppy and finding Furst Steps has been wonderful! He loves playing with his fur friends and Alex and the staff are wonderful trainers. The facility is beautiful and having the Farmer’s Barker next door is such a bonus!

Furst Steps is here to teach and guide puppies & pet owners through the tough stages of puppyhood by providing services and a helping hand regarding proper nutrition, chews/treats, toys, training, socialization, and more. Our training programs are science-based, positive focused and taught by a Certified Professional Dog Trainer (CPDT-KA). Socialization is so much more than just meeting new people and other dogs and we want to help show you why it makes a difference. We incorporate your puppy’s five senses into our program before, during and after their Critical Socialization Period to help ensure they will be well-socialized & well-rounded dogs. We are here to give your puppy positive, enriching, and exciting experiences.

There is not a better place to bring your puppy! Alex (the owner/trainer) treats every dog like they are her own. Your puppy will not only love going to Furst Steps, but they will learn SO MUCH through expert training and positive reinforcement. Not only that, they have a retail store, directly next door, for all your dog’s health and wellness needs. I would give 10 stars if I could.

Furst Steps is my puppy's favorite place on earth. We rescued Ruby and when we brought her home, she was timid and shy with strangers. After only a few weeks at Furst Steps, she became the most confident, playful, outgoing puppy in the entire world. Now, she is amazing with dogs, kids, anyone! Alex and Jay have been SO caring and attentive to Ruby, and we can tell Ruby loves it because she SPRINTS to the car each daycare morning. I can't say enough good things about Furst Steps!!!!

We sent our puppy Buzz to Furst Steps for their “Furst Grade” program and have been really happy with the whole experience. The staff is friendly, attentive, and very knowledgeable. Alex is a great trainer and really listens to your concerns and goals with puppy training. Her approach is easy to understand and learn (for both you and your pup). The “Furst Grade” program really helped build Buzz’s confidence.He learned some new things, and also made friends along the way! We loved seeing the daily pictures posted on Facebook. It took him a few times going to really feel comfortable, but he ended up loving Alex, Bridget, and Jay! The facility is spacious, well kept, and has a lot to offer. We were very happy with our experience here and recommend it to other puppy parents! It’s a great way to help build a confident, well behaved puppy!!
Started sending my dog here to the daycare and absolutely love it! Took a couple of private lessons and learned so much. Staff is AMAZING! They really go the extra step for the dogs and I love to see the daily pictures! 10/10 !!!
