About FurEver Home Dog Training
FurEver Home Dog Training helps dogs, puppies and rescues overcome behavior challenges through calm leadership, connection, and understanding. Created by professional dog trainer Jodi Little, The CALM DOG Connection teaches owners how to build trust, reduce stress, and create lasting behavior change without relying on correction-based methods. We help with separation anxiety, leash pulling, excessive barking, jumping, destructive behaviors, reactivity and aggression-related behaviors, fear, resource guarding, rescue dog and puppy mill transitions, potty training, and more. Local private lessons are available in Fort Collins, Colorado, and virtual training is available nationwide. Our mission is helping more dogs stay in their FurEver Homes.

FurEver Home and Jodi were great. My partner and I were dealing with some aggression with one of our dogs after we merged households. From my first call with Jodi I felt relief. Jodi was knowledgeable and gave both my partner and I some short term solutions and worked with us to train our dogs for long term success. Jodi’s style of training isn’t just treat or tools focused, but instead she taught us how to read our dogs and use the tools, commands, and body language to adjust our dogs behaviors. So glad we found FurEver Home!!
I can tell how much Jodi really loves the animals she deals with, and I feel confident that my dog is safe in her care and under her training. Jodi has been especially attentive and skilled with our anxious dog and puts us all at ease. She is so knowledgeable and so kind!
Jodi helped me tremendously in understanding how my dog learns and what I do can affect that! My dog has a history of neglect and abuse on top of 9 months at a kennel. I have hope now that my dog can be trained after another trainer sent her home saying she could not be trained and may need to be put down. We have a long way to go, but this wouldn't be possible without Jodi and her knowledge.
