About FurEver Home Dog Training
FurEver Home Dog Training helps dogs, puppies and rescues overcome behavior challenges through calm leadership, connection, and understanding. Created by professional dog trainer Jodi Little, The CALM DOG Connection teaches owners how to build trust, reduce stress, and create lasting behavior change without relying on correction-based methods. We help with separation anxiety, leash pulling, excessive barking, jumping, destructive behaviors, reactivity and aggression-related behaviors, fear, resource guarding, rescue dog and puppy mill transitions, potty training, and more. Local private lessons are available in Fort Collins, Colorado, and virtual training is available nationwide. Our mission is helping more dogs stay in their FurEver Homes.

Jodi was very helpul with our Austrailian Shepherd puppy that tried to herd us using nips. Her suggestions have really helped us to help our dog stay calmer and not try to herd us. She also gave us ideas and suggestions with other behaviors of our Aussie and also with our aging husky. I would highly recommend her.

Jodi with FurEver Home Dog Training has been an imperative part of adopting our new shy dog. She took careful consideration of our dog’s unique situation since he’s likely never been someone’s beloved pet and is quite skittish. She is very knowledgeable in reading and teaching about dog behaviors. She has great techniques to help introduce our dog to his new home and to start potty training while continuing to build his trust. She is flexible with scheduling. Our training via Google Meets was just as productive online as it would have been in person which was very convenient for us. Jodi genuinely cares about building a relationship with you and your pet and will remain our go-to person for dog training.
Jodi is amazing! She trained me on how to understand my dogs and become a confident pack leader. My nervous pup has improved so much and I look forward to training sessions and continuing training at home.

We’ve only worked with Jodi once so far (we are scheduling more sessions as I type) but the difference in our household is amazing. We adopted a little shelter dog a couple of months ago who, unbeknownst to us, took over the house. After meeting with Jodi, she trained us to how to train our dog. There was a difference immediately. He’s calmed down significantly and in turn, so have we ;) He has a ways to go but we can’t wait to work with Jodi again because she made such a difference within the first 2 hours of meeting her. We’re absolutely confident that with her help he’s going to shine and be the best dog we’ve had so far.
