We adopted our German Shepherd, Coco at just one year old from Best Friends Rescue in LA. She had been in shelters her entire life except once, where she was adopted and returned the next day. She is the sweetest dog, but has high anxiety and was constantly in flight mode. It is hard to get her to train as she is constantly observing her surroundings and is hard to calm her down. We rescued another German Shepherd from Russ that he had been training that needed a home and we immediately fell in love with Buddha and he has been a huge part of our family. Coco needed some help that I knew I could not recognize exactly how to deal with and knew Russ would be the answer. She did boot camp with Russ and she loved him from the moment she met him. Russ is very communicative during the entire process, makes videos and sends daily progress updates. He helped us understand the issues Coco had and how to help her grow into a confident, secure pup. If I ever need any help or have questions Russ is there immediately there to answer. Its been a bit over a month and I see a big change in Coco and know as long as we keep up with the knowledge and training Russ gave us, she will continue to grow in a positive manner. 10/10
All I can say is WOW!! If you want to work with someone who is compassionate to animals and knowledgeable in dog behaviors russ is your guy. My dog was suffering from separation anxiety and he helped us with many training protocols to practice at home. It is also so nice to get constant updates about progress and photos. Thank you for helping me and my boy have a happier and fuller life!
