Fresh Canine Training Academy

I sent my 11 week old English Lab to Fresh Canine after having him for 3 weeks on my own. I knew that I was not going to be able to train him anywhere close to how I wanted him to behave. After the puppy head start 3 week board and train program, I got Wyatt back, and it was like they had just reprogrammed him. Most of the bad behavior issues that any puppy has were just about gone. He walks on a leash so well now, and I can take him to Home Depot without him pulling all over the place or jumping on people. He knows his basic commands that make living with a puppy much more enjoyable. After a few days of having him back, I know that it was worth every penny. I'll be sending him back to the Obedience and off leash training eventually.

Well worth the wait and persistence getting in touch with these trainers! It was hard to get on the books and get responses as they are a small, BUSY business. Fresh Canine understands dog behavior... ALL dogs, even the "unadoptable" dogs like mine. Other people and trainers have been scared/intimidated by my 4 year old rescue dog, even when he is not in fear aggressive mode like at the vet. He is 50 lbs of blue heeler mix and a high drive, intense working dog. Charlotte is super positive, so knowledgeable, confident and calm. All my concerns I bring to her she has the answers and is so reassuring that we can find solutions to problems. So grateful for all the tools given to get my pup less fearful and learn to trust people. Oh and no more leash pulling, walks are relaxing again!

Prior to working with Charlotte and Ashley, my two Great Danes were pulling on their leash, barking at every human and dog they saw and were overall not enjoyable to take on a walk. After their training with Fresh Canine, we’re able to take them on a walk, with our stroller, meeting other dogs and neighbors without them scaring everyone away. It’s been amazing and I cannot sing their praises enough!! Thank you for making walks fun again, Fresh Canine!!!

We have now had 2 dogs go thru Charlotte's board & train program and she has also worked with our third dog as part of the first board & train experience. I would highly recommend her for your training. She takes time to understand each animal's unique needs and is very thorough with communicating her training methods to you during pick up and making sure you understand how to continue to work with your furry family member once you get home. Be patient with her when requesting info, she stays very busy and sometimes it will take her a day or two to respond, but she's always there to follow up and communicate with you.
