Fresh Canine Training Academy

My girlfriend and I rescued our first dog together named Winston. He was 6 months old when we got him and was extremely reactive from the start (blue heeler/border collie mix). He was scared to go outside, hyper-aggressive, and couldn't interact with dogs/people without having intense barking and anxiety attacks. He was terrified of everything and territorial of our home. We were scared he would eventually hurt himself or others as a result. The consultation with Charlotte sold us immediately. No one had seemed so confident in handling his behavior as she did, and the farm was just beautiful. We enrolled him in the four-week course. I also loved that Winston got to live with her in the house with other dogs, which would make transitioning back home a breeze. She kept us updated with his progress, and we even got to visit him once. Almost a year later she still checks in on us periodically. When we picked him up, he was a completely different dog. Charlotte also taught us about the psychology behind his actions and the training, so we could better evaluate what Winston is feeling and so we could easily transition the training at home after we picked him up. I could never recommend her enough to anyone looking for a trainer. It was worth every penny and we continue to board Winston at Fresh Canine whenever we are on vacation. We used Fresh Canine Training for board and train for our English Setter Betsy. We are so pleased with her behavior after training and appreciate Charlotte and her team so much. She is very knowledgeable about canine behavior - our Betsy still gets excited when we mention her name! We recommended Fresh Canine to several friends and will continue to do so.
