Total Dog Training and Devin did an excellent job more than we expected!! My mother, Mary, and I were very nervous when we chose to start training for Nefertiti. The day we picked TDT, we were still not sure if we made the right decision or not. But at the end of our training session, we were extremely happy that we pickd TDT and had Devin as our trainer!! Devin came to my mother house for the consultation. It was amazing that he connected with Nefertiti right away. Devin explained to us what we would need for training (supplies) and how the sessions would go. This was extremely helpful for us to see and understand the process we all would experience. We asked him many questions during our sessions, and he answered all our questions very patiently until we understood them clearly. On the first day of training, we were pretty nervous because we didn't know how Nefertiti would react and if my mother could handle the process, but we didn't need to worry at all with Devin. Devin works very quickly and in an organized way. We were amazed how much Nefertiti changed in the first hour of our first session. Whenever we had concerns, Devin made efforts to resolve any issues right away and always gave us very quick response if we had any questions. He is very professional and a hard worker. We can't thank him enough!!

I was at my wits end with our 2 over 70 pound dogs. Mazy is 9 and Roy is 6. She is very shy and reserved and Roy is more dominant and would get So over focused, barked and barked and barked at every movement around the house. He was so out of control we couldn't have friends over. He never hurt anyone he just made it impossible to enjoy company. Devin Haney with Total Dog changed our whole life and taught us how to manage Roy and in so many ways Mazy followed. I know that much of his approach is to train the humans but he absolutely got Roy's attention and directed him to hear me. This was not an inexpensive venture but I know that we will forever have a better relationship with the dogs we've made a lifetime of love and commitment with. I would do it again and will do it again the next time I bring a dog in my life. I KNOW that we can have a loving comfortable shared life. I'm forever grateful for Devin and his amazing gift!!

Colleen was great. She taught both my son and I how our 70lb 10m old puppy thinks along with the commands we needed to teach her. She would run the commands so we could see how they should work. Then we would mimic her until we got the same result. We want a dog we can take anywhere, and we are definitely on our way to having that. In just a few months are dog went from barking at everything, jumping on visitors, ignoring our commands, pulling on leash when walking, and unable to be recalled to a much improved barker, no more visitors get knocked down by a 70lb dog, she looks to us for directions, no more leash pulling, and she comes back when called, most times. The trick with dog training we have found is we get the most out of the training if we stay consistent and stay patient with both ourselves and our puppy. You can’t just run the commands with the trainer and then not use them again until the next class. You have to work them every day. Thank you, Colleen, for the confidence to take control of our puppy’s behavior. We are already enjoying more freedom to take her more places, and she is enjoying it too.

Colleen was a life saver. My almost 2 year old pup was resourcing guarding in the house and i could NEVER have guests over. We went through 2 other trainers before Colleen and I was honestly ready to re-home him if I couldn’t find a solution. She was definitely the solution. After 5-6 in home sessions I had people over little by little and now he doesn’t even seem to care when someone walks in with us. It is definitely a night and day difference in me and my dog! I can’t say enough good things about her!!!
