There is truly no other place to take your dog for training! When we started our journey with Freedom K9 academy we were at a loss for what to do with our lovable 10 month old golden. At 30 weeks pregnant, he started to display concerning behaviors that no one wants when you are planning on having a baby in the house. He was jumping and lunging at people, pulling for entire walks, only listening with food incentives, and overall becoming more stubborn. We initially signed our dog up for the CGC program and were instantly blown away by the behaviors of the demo dogs. Even though ours had a lot of training ahead of him- just being in a space with well trained dogs was helpful. Alyssa and her team are amazing! Aryanna was so helpful and would spend a few extra minutes with us at the end of class with additional suggestions. They went out of their way to help us prepare our dog and pass the CGC test. Not only that- but we never once felt judged for the behavior of our dog which was so helpful in the beginning sessions when he was so reactive. With the improvements we noticed after CGC we decided to sign him up for more one on one training! We are happy to report that since bringing home our baby, he has been the BEST. He listens, doesn’t jump, stays in his place, and has stopped pulling on walks. My love for him has grown so much seeing this improved side of him and we can’t wait to watch his growth continue!

Alyssa and her team at Freedom K9 are simply just amazing. They are so kind and professional and know what they are talking about. We were so scared to put him anywhere since he's a little ankle biter (he's a chihuahua...enough said), and their confidence in him and in us helped us relax and have peace of mind. Alyssa sat with Bandito through some of his worst moments and didn't flinch or ever lose confidence in herself or him. Alyssa's dogs are also incredibly well-trained. I can't recommend them enough.
