Freedom K9

After searching most of Southern Oregon for a trainer in behavior modification for my 3-year-old shepherd/cattle dog (my grand pup), I finally found Kindle and her team. Sequoia was reactive, no manners, high prey drive and absolutely no recall, she could never, ever be off leash. I had a dog who I just barely tolerated and knew she needed better. I sent Sequoia to Freedom K9 for the behavior modification course and what I received in return was a happy, well behaved dog who is 110% reliable off leash. Freedom K9 delivered on every promise. When I picked our 2 year old Akita, Yui, up from training, she was a much improved version of herself! She had more confidence, quickly responded to commands, had better attention, and demonstrated better behavior in all situations. Prior to training with Freedom K9, Yui had no recall and was unsafe off leash; after 3 weeks of training, her recall was dependable and we could finally take her for walks off leash. Better yet, she has only improved since training because with the ecollar we have a clear communication system that lets her know exactly what I want from her. A review over a year late... Kindle changed my dog Fonzi's life forever and is the major reason for his success. He was a very difficult rescue and Kindle fit him into her schedule sort of last minute. He did the 3 week behavior training boarding in June 2021 and came back a maintainable dog. Nearly everyday when I walk Fonzi I think about how before he was trained by Kindle and her team he nearly dislocated my arm on a walk trying to chase deer. Now I can drink a coffee while walking him. When we see other dogs or squirrels I just have to say "leave it" and we are on our way. We recently moved to Texas and I am making SURE to leave a review because with Kindle's training it was possible to move my dog in a uhaul across multiple state lines and having to stay in multiple hotels WITH A CAT! And everything went just fine! Thank you Kindle and Freedom K9 for giving Fonzi a chance at living a "normalish" dog life! [ still reactive but now manageable reactive :) ]

I have 2 rescue dogs, one a lab who is believed to have been a breeder dog, who lived in a cemented crate, in other words she was not well treated. She was hyper and totally untrained. My other is a lab/pit, whose history is not really known but she was very dog aggressive. On the recommendation of a friend, I took them both to Freedom/K9. I cannot say enough about how pleased I am with them now. Just saying No makes a world of difference. I can generally walk them together, something I never though was possible. The lab is still hyper, she is young, but she responds to commands. They both heel on command. Are they perfect no but the change is amazing and I can walk them, walk them by other dogs without major issues. The lab still wants to go after squirrels but a firm No stops her.
