Freak On A Leash Dog Training

We had an excellent experience with Karissa. She truly took the time to tailor the training to each individual dog in the class—including my puppy, who struggles with anxiety and is fearful of just about everything. Her patient, compassionate approach made a world of difference. The trainer used only positive reinforcement and never relied on punishment, which helped build trust and confidence in both the dogs and the owners. I really appreciated the supportive environment and how she adapted to meet every dog where they were. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a kind, knowledgeable, and effective trainer! We will be signing up for more classes!

AMAZING training! When started looking for a trainer for my Cattle dog rescue I was very skeptical that I would see many results. Lexi is one of the best trained dogs ive ever had- and she loves to learn, but she has always been a "mommas girl" and had a bad case of "stranger danger" when our vet recommended putting her on anxitey pills just to get her through her annual checkups I knew i had to try and Im so happy i found Andrea and Freak on a Leash! With their help and some hard work, my dog lexi had her first ever vet visit where she wasnt shaking like a leaf from the second we walked in the door. I couldnt reccomend them more and look forward to using them in the future for some fun (agility and rally) group classes with my girls.

Andrea is very knowledgeable about why dogs behave a certain way. She was able to point out some concerns right away! When she first met him, she stated that our dog might be in pain because of the way he was sitting. She also gave helpful strategies to use when we notice that he is uncomfortable or anxious, so that aggressive behaviors can be avoided. She knows her stuff! I would definitely recommend her services!

Karissa was the perfect fit for our Dane! She taught us a lot about his personality and would try several avenues to find what worked for his specific quirks. She was patient with him and helped us learn how to continue his training on a daily basis. We exposed him to various 'triggers' to see his reactions and learn how to manage different situations from other dogs and people on walks, workers in the house, neighbors outside, etc. My only negative is the cost is a bit higher than most other trainers but by repeating what he learned daily in between sessions and Karissa's techniques we definitely saw results and positive changes in our dog's behavior.
