Fraternity K9

Donald has made a huge difference in both our and our dogs life! His training has helped our dog listen and learn so many new things! He has helped us by providing the tools and techniques to solve our resource guarding problem and to have a better relationship with our fur baby! I couldn’t be happier with his style of teaching and advice throughout our time together! He is beyond talented and I highly recommend Fraternity K9!

I hope there is enough space to sing the praises of Fraternity K9 and Donald. A little background. Charlie is my 7 year old Yorkie rescue that I got two years ago. He was aggressive towards larger dogs and men. Fraternity K9 was my third trainer. I knew I had made the right choice during our first meeting. Charlie took to Donald after a brief introduction. Charlie doesn’t like strangers; especially the male version. Charlie went right to Donald and gave a sniff and allowed himself to be petted. One week into our training session, I noticed a change in Charlie’s behavior. Each week Charlie got better. All my neighbors commented on the change in Charlie’s behavior. One neighbor thought I got a new dog. He is no longer barking and lunging at strange men. He is on alert, but doesn’t react. I live in a pet friendly neighborhood; everyone has a dog or two. Charlie has made so much progress. He is less reactive and can be redirected once instead of several attempts. He still reacts to the German Shepard and Pitt bull in the neighborhood. He is more manageable and I only have to redirect him once. He is still a work in progress, but Fraternity K9 has given me the tools and knowledge to continue Charlie’s progress. If anyone is in need of a trainer, I recommend Fraternity K9 without hesitation or reservation. Donald is so knowledgeable; a great teacher; and patiently explains commands when I didn’t get it the first time. He is a dog lover and dogs know who is friend or foe. My Charlie took to him immediately. I was shocked. I was holding my breath and was dreading their first encounter. Donald said hey buddy and stood there; Charlie came to him. I know it doesn’t sound earth shattering, but if you knew how Charlie reacted to strange men, you would know how earth shattering it was. Fraternity K9 was worth every $$ and more. Charlie is even more of a love bug and walking him is now a pleasure.
