Tammy at Fourpawsitivity is absolutely fantastic! My dog, Luna, comes back from every walk completely exhausted and happy, which is exactly what I want. She is incredibly reliable, always takes cute update pictures, and clearly treats my pup like one of her own. She goes above and beyond with training and extra attention whenever needed. Luna just loves Tammy and I don’t know what I would do without her in our lives. I feel completely confident leaving my furry friend in her care and would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a top-notch dog walker.

SHES LITERALLY A DOG WHISPERER! I’m a busy college student who was interested in getting a dog for the first time but didn’t know how to start. Tammy, the owner of the business walked me through so much. Everytime im at this place, the dogs seem to love her and are the most well behaved. If you’re looking for someone who has a genuine love for dogs that’s strong enough to have your dog grow and learn along with you learning as an owner, then fourpawsitivity is the spot for you.

Were it not for Tammy’s expertise and compassion, my husband and I would no longer have a dog. We were desperate for answers and help when I contacted Tammy about our 5-month-old golden retriever puppy. At the time, we were considering returning/rehoming Juniper. She was uncontrollable on a leash and unmanageable in the home. We simply were not communicating effectively, and our bond was tenuous. Tammy understood the urgency of the situation and generously made herself available to help us. She said, “I’ve got you” and she meant it. Through phone calls, one-on-one trainings, and outings with our puppy, Tammy completely changed the way we relate to Juniper. Tammy’s behavioral insights are perceptive and her positivity infectious. She navigated us out of a crisis and showed us how to understand and communicate with our puppy, who is now securely a beloved member of our family. We are so grateful to know Tammy, not only because she is an amazing resource for struggling dog owners, but because she is an amazing and kind person. I highly recommend her services.

Tammy is without a doubt the best dog trainer you can find. I reached out to her about a year ago to help me support my dog Annie, who tends to be quite anxious. Within a week she had sat down with us, met Annie and was providing us a training plan and lessons every couple weeks. She’s an extraordinarily kind hearted human with so much compassion and knowledge about our animals. She was teaching me how to better connect and read my dogs body language which has drastically improved my pup and I’s relationship. Often having a dog that struggles with anxiety can be a bit overwhelming and even feel impossible at times but with Tammy as our trainer I truly felt like we have a teammate and a true supporter to help us accomplish the goals that we had set. She empowered me with the knowledge, tools and resources to get us to thrive! Anytime questions came up I could reach out and work with her to come up with solutions. Additionally this summer and fall I had the opportunity to accompany Tammy on her pack walks. Seeing what she did each day with the dogs showed me what true passion for work looks like. She advocated for every dog, worked on training each day and absolutely loved and cared for each dog she had with her! She knew each dog so well and made sure to accommodate her pack walks to fit each dogs needs. Her continued support and guidance in Annie and I’s relationship has been such a gift and knowing that I will always have someone so smart and gifted with pups (especially those with quirks like mine) in my corner is such a blessing. If you have a dog who needs training or pack walks I HIGHLY recommend her (especially if your pup has some quirks), you truly won’t find anyone better to trust your pup with :)
