FirstBarkI loved leash training with Johanna! She was very patient and receptive to all of my questions and took extra time to help us with our pup's fearful behaviors as well. I trust her with any problems we come across with our Bentley boy!

Johanna was a huge help training me and my dog. Whelan was pulling on walks and I was afraid I’d get hurt. She was transparent in explaining her methods unlike two other trainers I contacted. I’m feeling so much more confident. I’d highly recommend working with her. Reach out to me if you would like more info.
We live in Chardon but winter in Florida, so we did in person and online training. Started with our Westie Minnie in person and when we were in Florida we did online, after we came back we did more in person. Johanna is a great teacher and we learned a lot. Minnie is now manageable when we go on our walks and is so much fun. She is also not as "crazy" barking in the house! THANK you Johanna!!
Johanna taught us so much about how to help our energetic puppy focus and be ready to learn! We took the elementary obedience course in Chardon, OH and it was a perfect intro to dog training for our whole family. Johanna is a clear communicator, caring, and so knowledgeable and we are looking forward to continuing our puppy training journey with her guidance.

We are so glad that we found Johanna at Four Legged Scholars. We went through the first level of basic training with our puppy Mocha. Johanna is a great teacher! We really appreciated learning with our puppy. At the end we felt very comfortable and confident that we could maintain and continue the training. Mocha did amazing on our recent trip which we drove 9-10 hrs there and back. I know it went smoothly because of Johanna's training. Training classes were held at the Chalet in Chardon. I highly recommend Johanna!! We are already signed up for the intermediate level.
