Thank you, thank you, Jim and Sharon! We now have a well mannered year and a half old mix terrier after our eight week program. June can now stay in place, walk on and off leash, retrieve a ball without nipping and overall is so much better. June is an escape artist, and Jim gave us tips on how to secure our yard better. Love, the E collar training had some concerns however, after working with Jim and seeing how well Jill responds and it did not affect her personality or her demeanor it has been extremely beneficial. The facilities are so clean and tidy. I was mortified the day that June had an accident in the training center. It is going to seem strange for us not to go to training once a week and it is nice to know that we can contact them at any time and send them a video if we have any kind of questions or issues June.
The only solid worker there was Alex. The owner, Jim, would scream at his workers. He has extreme anger issues and poor management skills. The only solid worker there was Alex. The owner, Jim, would scream at his workers. He has extreme anger issues and poor management skills. When upset with his workers or just having a bad day, he would take it out on the dogs. Those dogs who had fear issues, struggled to overcome them with that sort of approach. My dog has a fear of other dogs and that’s why she is reactive. When I paid $850 for lessons, during one of Jim thought it would be okay for a dog that was known for biting, to sniff my already scared dog. The dog did end up biting/nipping my dog, of course. This only increased my dogs fear of other dogs. I do NOT recommend this place.
Great place. Clean facilities and professional staff. Really helped my dog with training. I have complete confidence in them. My dog is more calm and his walks are more enjoyable. He's not afraid of noises like before. The personal training is really effective. Taught me a lot.
My Akita has a high prey drive, she is responding great to training at Foundation K9 after only 3 weeks. Walks great on lead, sits, stays in place. Huge difference in her temperament around other dogs. I highly recommend this facility!
