Foundation K9 NWI

Nice folks who are knowledgeable about training dogs and their people. Our puppy is much better behaved than he would have been without Jim’s training expertise. Highly recommend! Update: we weren’t consistent with everything we learned when we went through puppy classes. So back to Foundation K9 with our 2-year-old Keeshond. This time we opted for their day training program. It was worth every penny! Jim and his crew are amazing—with the dogs and their people (sometimes the people need it more than the dogs).

Love this place. Not only have they trained my dog to be a great well-behaved dog they have trained me too. George Michael goes on a regular basis and will continue to go. Before going to K-9 Foundation I was afraid of dogs - I have been attacked by neighbor's dog's serval times - and so have all my other dogs. They introduced my puppy to good well-behaved dogs. When I go for a walk, and we run into other dogs I relax and let George Michael lead the way. I calm down - which keeps him calm and so far, all has been good. Now at the same time I do still stay away from the violent dogs in my neighborhood. I now have the freedom to walk my dog without fear of other dogs, because both George Michael and I know how to handle other dogs. I seriously respect K-9 Foundation!!!! They are fantastic - I totally recommend K-9 Foundation!!! Oh, by the way this is the first time I have ever left any kind of review, and I am seriously glad to do it. Thank you, K-9 Foundation, for giving me my Freedom and a well-behaved dog.

We enrolled our Shih Tzu in training at Foundation K9 and couldn't be happier with the experience. Our furry friend has made significant progress, thanks to the dedicated staff. Alex and Jim stand out for their expertise and willingness to assist with any inquiries. Our family faces the challenge of a disabled daughter who sometimes struggles with verbal communication. Foundation K9 has been instrumental in developing hand signals for our dog, enabling our daughter to interact with him on days when speech is difficult. I wholeheartedly endorse this company for dog training!
