Found Chicago Boarding & Training Center

Picking the right training facility for your dog/puppy can be a scary thing, but after 3 weeks at Found’s Adventure Dog program, I would not hesitate to recommend Found Chicago to anyone/dog. I adopted a pit bull at age 3, after it had been found as a stray at age 1 and lived at animal control for 2yrs. He was pretty feral and did not know how to be a dog in human terms. I remembered Found from years earlier, and although I now lived in the suburbs- the trip into the city was worth it and I’d do it again. Today, my dog walks like a dream, he can be easily redirected, he “places” like a champ, and most importantly I can tell his anxiousness is minimal, if not gone - he is much more at ease and is coming in for snuggles and cuddles. He came back a happier dog. The trainers at Found Chicago are top notch, everyone’s priority is the dog’s well-being, my dog fell in love with his trainer, and I still have more sessions within this program to enforce and add on to this new bond/life that we as a team created.

Our 1.5yo German Shepherd/Lab mix, Murphy just finished the Adventure Dog Program a few days ago. I cannot rave enough about how wonderful this program and facility is. We got updates and training videos the whole time he was gone and he always looked so happy and excited to be there. Murphy already had a good base but after a move we were experiencing some leash reactivity and anxious behaviors. These past couple of days with him home we have noticed so much change in his behavior. Murphy is as confident as ever and so are we now that we have the tools and guidance to keep up the good habits and create structure that promotes trust between us and Murphy. Everyone on the team is so kind and clearly love the animals they work with. We're excited that moving forward we can board him and attend daycare knowing he's in good hands and in environment he's comfortable with. Loved that he made some pals along the way too. Seriously thank you so much for all the work y'all do. Special thanks to Anna who was our one on one trainer.. we loved working with her.
