My approach to dog training provides your dog with confidence and skills, which improves behavior. Training is offered for dog manners and puppy training which includes barking, biting, digging, potty training and much more, as well as training for fearful and reactive dogs.
I specialize in positive reinforcement dog training, through private training sessions in your home. You’ll learn to use a unique blend of Clicker Training and how to read your dog's own unique communication style.

We love Cheryl! She masterfully taught us and our 3-year old Pembroke Welsh Corgi the skills and strategies to fix his leash reactivity and improve his house manners. We can now take our dog on a walk without him barking or lunging at people or other dogs! Cheryl listened to our goals for private lessons and then created a training program to reach those desired behaviors. Each session built on concepts and training that we had practiced previously. Cheryl was always organized, on time to appointments and never cancelled on us. After having two previous poor experiences with group obedience classes, we are relieved and so thankful to have found Cheryl!

Cheryl is absolutely an amazing trainer and teacher! She has the ability to talk to the humans and the dogs! The training sessions were 100% worth the cost and would gladly pay it again in a heartbeat. We learned such valuable information and how to communicate with our dog.

Frustrated with my 4 month old golden retriever’s biting and mood swings, I called Cheryl. She assured me this was normal for puppies and retrievers. I setup a consultation and was impressed with how quickly Sadie responded to Cheryl and the training. I signed up for six sessions and have no regrets! Cheryl provided the tools and insight to correct unwanted behavior. Looking back at the puppy antics I see a hugh difference in Sadie’s behavior as well as my own understanding of puppy development.
