There are classes to prepare your dog for a TDI test, it's the CGC class, but they only test for CGC at the end of the class. You should be able to Google "TDI test near me" and find a test to complete somewhere after you take the class, but I highly recommend taking a class first so you know what to expect. TDI tests usually aren't easy to find so you want to make sure you are fully prepared :)

This is hands down the best training school in the area. Even under new ownership they excel. If you have a dog who needs basic obedience, they are wonderful. If you have a dog with special needs (like shy or reactive) they have additional specific classes for them. If you are looking for classes to ground you for therapy work, or obedience competition, this is the only local school I would look at for those tasks. If you have an extremally smart or busy dog who needs a trainer who can think on their feet and give you new ideas, this is the place. Honestly, I travel about 40 minutes when I have schools 10 minutes away because this school is just a cut above the rest. Check them out.

This was our second time through the Puppy Kindergarten, and once again the staff did an excellent job! The instructors are patient with the (occasionally frustrated and sleep-deprived) puppy owners, knowledgeable in the techniques to effectively train puppies, and clearly passionate about responsible pet ownership and skill development for both the owner and the dog. We appreciate how accommodating and understanding the team has been, heartily recommend their services, and look forward to continuing in other activities with our dog!
