For Love of Dogs Canine/Human Relations LLC

I adopted a lab mix almost 6 months ago and tried two different trainers. I wasn't comfortable with the approach one trainer used and the other wasn't dependable. I am beyond amazed at the difference in Libby after our time with PK. Before coming to For Love of Dogs, Libby was so busy trying to protect us that I was worried she was going to be aggressive towards a stranger. PK doesn't train but educates. She taught me how to communicate with Libby and it has made a world of difference. Libby is the wonderful companion I thought she could be. I strongly recommend you bring your dog here.

My 1 year old Doberman spent the week at For Love of Dogs and when she came back I couldn’t have been happier! She has a title in lure coursing and I always thought that with her prey drive and the fact that I feed her frozen whole prey rabbits that if she ever got loose around one I’d never be able to control her. Well when we finally got home I didn’t check the back yard and let everyone out to go potty. I suddenly heard a squeal and looked out to see Harvest about a foot behind a terrified rabbit who was running for cover. Well I yanked open the door and yelled for her to leave it! She did! She stopped and looked at me and walked inside. Needless to say I was thrilled! I couldn’t believe she had left the rabbit in the middle of a high prey drive chase!!!! Thank you PK for showing us how to be a team and the knowledge that even if Harvest bolts I know that she will recall and my yard bunny thanks you too!

Working with PK was spectacular. She taught me so much about what my dog needs from me as far as communication rather than commands. She changed almost everything I was doing from the way I fed him to the way I walked him. We noticed the differences in just a week or two of classes but now after we’re all done, he’s much more sure of himself and more trusting of me too. I have too many good things to say here, but I drove an hour each way to get to PK and it was completely worth it and I never doubted that it would be. Thank you PK

Very fulfilling experience this was. Can't thank PK enough. PK taught us how to work with our dog (younger male). He had no confidence, food aggression, frightened of many things, went crazy over people and dogs (he had no sense of control), and we had no sense of communication with him. (He was already house broken and knew basic tricks) Thanks to PK, I can now say I have never met a dog more confident and I can finally communicate with my boy. What an experience.. I am so blessed and grateful to have found PK. I highly recommend her services! PK, you rock! **She teaches, not trains. She is holistic, and very knowledgeable. She takes no B*llsh*t. She has worked with dogs for over 50 YEARS** The hardest part was putting aside everything you've learned and opening your mind to new techniques in the new style of teaching. This class is hard work but it is so worth it in more ways than one. Thank you, PK, for everything.
