Follow The Leader K9

Eric and his team at Follow The Leader K9 have been absolutely fantastic to work with! They have generously donated their time to help me train my foster dog, Banzai, a 2-year-old Belgian Malinois, from SB Animal Services. Despite his sweet nature, Banzai lacked any training, was fearful of everything, and was difficult to handle on leash. The personalized 1:1 instruction, training tools, and videos I received from Eric have made a world of difference! In just one month, Banzai is now calm, responsive to commands like "Sit, Stay, Down," and walks on leash without issue. He enjoys using the doggy treadmill during training and has overcome his fear of getting in and out of the car. I can't thank Follow The Leader K9 enough for their invaluable assistance, not just for me and Banzai, but for other foster dogs and their caregivers from SB Animal Services as well!

Eric and his team have been amazing, I only wish I found them sooner! I came to them feeling discouraged and overwhelmed by George’s reactivity and Lily’s stubbornness. I was having difficulty walking the two together and managing their different (mis)behaviors. Eric’s deep knowledge, creativity, and passion for his work, coupled with Katia’s gentle knowing and quiet consistency is magic. Having tried other trainers, what I appreciate most is how they met me and my pups where we were…and then tailored a plan for us to develop skills and build confidence. Eric and Katia have brought out the best in them and me - it’s an entirely different experience. I highly recommend!

I have been thoroughly impressed with Erik and his team at Follow The Leader K9. It is clear that Erik is passionate about what he does, is professional and cares about a positive outcome. The time he takes with each client, in person and via video sharing, is a testament to his devotion. They are also very fair and flexible with the logistics involved with their training packages.We have seen terrific results so far and would highly recommend Follow The Leader K9 to anyone with dogs who need a little “touch up” to people with dogs that need a lot of help (like one of ours).😀

where do i begin? our rescue, "elizabeth", was rejected from various training programs and they wouldn't graduate her--eric and katia, in one week, had elizabeth behaving better. not only did this make our lives better, but elizabeth is so much happier, with less anxiety. we soon added our newest rescue, a pyrenees puppy {?!!??!} to the household and follow the leader has made such a difference for our household. i can't recommend them enough.---these programs are not for lazy owners! if your dogs are willing to put in the work to change, us as owners must take responsibility and continue the training at home to further enhance ours and our pets' lives. i am so grateful to have found followtheleader.
