Matt was just what my dog Ellie and I needed. Ellie was a 1 year old dog that was abandoned as a pregnant pup from a hunting pack that was reactive with anxiety when we adopted her. Coming from a hunting pack she wasn’t trained or socialized like a companion pet. Follow The Leader’s balanced approach was just what was needed to make sure I was effectively communicating with Ellie. We both gained the confidence and skills needed. Outstanding dog trainer. Expensive but WORTH IT! The method of training is very well explained and how it replicated the same way canines learn as an animal (pack mentality with an alpha who communicates well). Collar, and e collar and included and instruction is provided on how to use effectively to communicate with the dog. You’ll see a difference in the very first lesson - my dog was following Matt around like a soldier at attention. New skills are taught each lesson and the more you practice at home and faster you master them. The training is more on how to teach you as an owner to communicate with your dog so you can train them with the repetition needed to make it a behavior change. I would recommend this trainer to anyone looking to improve their dogs listening, leash walking, staying, and the other basic dog commands.
