I brought two of my dogs to this training facility. My 7 year old girl German Shepherd Erza and 5 year old boy German Shepherd Rocco. Life with them wasn’t easy at all. Erza was scared of most strangers and listened half the time and couldn’t walk to save her life. Rocco has always had bad impulse control. Wanting to be the first out of the door, get a toy, or even just pets. Taking them here has given us the tools to work on their skills. With a boot like camp for the first two weeks. Drop off in the morning and pick up in the afternoon. A few selected days they have training classes for you and your dog. You come in at 5:30 and you work with them and your dog until 6:15. Once you finish the two weeks they have momentum classes. They vary throughout the week. A few different people sign up and you work in a group session on different skills and tools for your dogs in a controlled environment. They also have private lessons if need be. After taking these classes I’m able to walk them in a tandem heel and have a nice loose leash when we are not in heel. We are able to sit around distractions like squirrels, other dogs, public spaces, and high energy. Taking them here is one of the best things I could’ve done for us, I am less anxious about taking my dogs out, and can finally see us thriving together instead of always competing with one another.

Flying Colors has a good puppy preschool program. Their advanced course, such as the Rockstar program, is quite expensive, although my dog learned a lot, they did not address all of his behavioral issues. Wish I would have stopped after puppy preschool and saved some money, after obtaining higher quality and more affordable dog training elsewhere. Trainers are fairly friendly. They are very strict with momentum group classes and are better at supporting group training rather than 1-on-1 training. Additionally, the momentum classes are very repetitive. Their training is a good starting point for most dogs. However, for the price and quality, definitely would not recommend it for everyone.

Absolutely love Flying Colors and their team! 12 years ago I took my late pup to FC for puppy preschool which gave me and Norma the fundamentals we needed to be a happy pup parent and pup for many years to come! 12 years later with a new puppy in our home, I immediately registered my family and Mango for puppy preschool. I was absolutely blown away by how much I re-learned and how happy Mango was to learn new skills. Post puppy preschool we signed Mango up for the Rockstar program. 9 days of training and she’s a transformed 7 month old puppy! In addition to the fundamentals, she can walk at heel, stay on place for 20+ minutes and she has good recall skills. My husband and I love the programming, that we can watch videos about what Mango is learning - which is exceptionally helpful if you are the one that can’t attend the class that night, and we are so excited to continue training Mango with the FC team at momentum classes and group walks. We plan to take our 4 year old heeler there next and I would absolutely recommend their programming to anyone. Excellent and trustworthy trainers, great educational material, and several options to suit your needs for training. ❤️
