Florida Canine Center

I took my 1 year old German Shepherd named Nester to Florida Canine Center to improve his behavior around strangers and other dogs. Nester struggled with being over protective while on walks and when interacting with guests. His behavior was severe enough to where I would leave him in my bedroom when company came over to ensure my guest felt comfortable. Henrique did a great job improving Nesters overall behavior. Nester doesn't show aggression anymore to guests. Henrique had great expertise in the field and took the time to teach me how to train my dog and improve Nesters behavior. My household is now at ease when guests come over.

If I could give this review 100 stars, I would. Working with Henrique and the Florida Canine Center is the best decision I've ever made when it comes to training my beautiful puppy, Ahri. I adopted Ahri from the Humane Society in August of 2021 as a 2-month-old puppy. Like any puppy, they can be jumpy, they nibble, they tug, they don't listen, the list goes on and on. I knew that I wanted to get the proper training early to build a structured home environment for my puppy. Ahri was also quite the tugger early on and now as a 78 pound doggo, she doesn't tug at all. Practice makes perfect and repetition was the key. Henrique showed me the steps to fix the little issues as well as the bigger ones. Now that those steps were shown, it was my turn to mimic what was taught to me and repeat those steps. Each day I saw massive improvement. I'm so blessed to have Ahri in my life and to have her trained by Henrique is an experience I would recommend for everyone.
