FLEX K9

Kaia is the third Yellow Lab we've had over the years, including one who was a certified therapy dog and visited schools, hospitals and the airport - i.e. we are experienced dog owners. Kaia is by far the most challenging dog we've had - partly due to her high energy and feisty personality and partly due to our age (70). During her first year we tried a local puppy training class, a doggy half-day day care with training, and a national training program and were so sad & frustrated that we considered re-homing Kaia because she was still injuring us by pulling and jumping and our best efforts were not working. We decided to give it one last try with Flex K9 and purchased the "Jump Start" program (two full days with Amy, the traininer, and three private lessons). When we came to pick Kaia up after the first day and get our first private lesson we were amazed. Our priority was loose leash walking and Kai was walking in a pefect heel, both with Amy and with each of us. We had genuine hope that we could manage Kaia for the first time in a long time. We've now finished the Jump Start program and Amy has been so helpful with every issue we stuggled with. We are truly enjoying Kaia and have formed a much stronger, more positive bond with her. While we are still training and practicing and working on other commands she is no longer injuring us with her rambunctous behavior and we are able to take her places we all enjoy. We cannot say enough about Amy's competence as a trainer and how much she has helped us. We highly recommend Flex K9 for training.
