I cannot begin to describe how much Flash Dog training has change our lives. Our dog Jaxson is a 3.5 yr old German Shepherd mix and his anxiety was getting to the point where it would be hard to be in any type of social situations without him having reactive behavior. No matter it we were outside on walks or even in the yard he would bark and lunge at anything that moved quickly (bikes, cars, skateboards and scooters). He had extreme leash reactivity especially around other dogs. Walking him was a nightmare, he would pull and forge ahead no matter what we did. We tried to do some training ourselves but quickly realized that with Jaxson’s level of anxiety he needed more structure and key foundational training that we just couldn’t give him on our own. We found Flash and did the three week board and train program. I cannot say enough good things about this program. When we went to our half way session we already saw improvement in his demeanor and he was walking without pulling. Then when we picked him up we learned about the ecollar and how to use it, you could tell immediately how well his recall was and how much he had learned. He was listening to the commands he was taught and was able to self regulate in stressful situations. We met with our trainer Jess for several follow up training sessions after picking him up. She is an amazing trainer. Her level of knowledge and dedication is incredible. You can see how impactful the relationship that she built with Jaxson is any time we would see her at the follow up sessions. We followed her recommendations about continuing to build his confidence and we still work with him daily. Jess also helped encourage us as owners to build our confidence with training. I had so much anxiety relating to his past reactive behavior. She help us get to a place where we are confident when we take him out and we have the tools to handle whenever situations arise (because they will). We can’t thank her enough! Every day isn’t perfect and you definitely have to put in the time to continue the training after you pick them up but it is so worth it. Getting to see how Jaxson has develop from that fearful/unsure dog to this confident dog who can truly embrace just being a dog and having fun outside. We wouldn’t have gotten to this point without the help of Flash Dog Training!

My border collie/husky mix came to flash for her original board and train nearly 4 years ago. It was the best decision I could’ve made! She was hyperactive, could never chill out, and came when called maybe half the time. The foundation she (and I learned) then made our life together SO much better. Her now perfect recall on the trails keeps her and other safe, and her ability to chill out at breweries and cafes means she gets to come almost everywhere with me. 4 years later and she still gets excited when I drop her off for boarding! It makes those rare times I have to leave her behind so much easier knowing she is well cared for with the wonderful staff at flash (and never hurts to get a little tune up training). I tell everyone I know with a dog to send them here!! Thank you Flash for helping me have the best life possible with my dog.

Chili Pepper came to Flash dog as just a pup about 3 months old. And Jess and other trainers did an exceptional job. Chili loves other dogs and we can take him out now to breweries and dog parks with confidence and can have him listen and chill next to us. He learned the basics from Flash dog and we can also leave him at home no problem. Thank you Flash dog for all you do and did for Chili Pepper and also teaching us how to communicate and handle our pup!
