We completed the Puppy Board and Train program at Flash Dog, and it was the best decision we could have made for training our new pup. Amanda was incredible, and our sweet boy came home with so many new skills and great behaviors! Our pup was about 12 weeks when he went to Flash Dog, and in the 2 weeks he was there, he learned the following: - Potty training was really locked in (he was well on his way, but no accidents since he's been home almost a month). - Crate trained - Walks on the leash SUPER well, doesn't pull, run after things, and is eager to earn his treats for staying close by - Knows to sit, down, and stay on "place", and also "come" - Doing much better with not nipping/bite-playing - Much calmer around our two toddlers I was nervous to leave him at such a young age, but it was clear that he was so well loved and cared for when I went to pick him up. We did our follow up session with Amanda and he was SO excited to be back at Flash Dog, it was amazing. I HIGHLY recommend this program, and we will definitely complete the off-leash training program once he is old enough.

We brought our 2 year old Berner in for a board and train. He is a sweet boy but has a ton of energy and didn't have the ability to focus it and was basically a bull in a china shop. After 4 weeks the transformation has been incredible. Jess did a great job reigning him in and giving both him and us tools to be successful moving forward. It was well worth the money and plan to bring him back for boarding as well.

We sent our puppy - Poppy - to the two week puppy imprinting training. We saw a huge difference when we picked her up. She still had all of her puppy energy, and there was definitely work for us to do (which our trainer, Savy, was very helpful in training us on), but she was able to walk well on a leash, stay in place, and we had tools to deal with all of her continued puppiness. She will now sit patiently before we start our walks - picture included - a massive improvement!!

Flash Dog Training was, without a doubt, the single greatest thing we have done for our pet. I would highly recommend their board-and-train program for all dogs, from the perfectly domesticated to the reactive and rambunctious. Our Australian Cattle Dog fell into the latter of those two categories, and we spent our first year with him questioning whether he would ever fit into our family. He was reactive to other dogs, had difficulty remaining focused on walks and runs, and he did not know how to relax. After many months of frustration and working with several other trainers, we decided to invest in Flash. Our dog's three weeks turned out to be completely transformative for both him and for us. Using the e-collar and prongs, we could finally communicate in a manner that our dog could understand. The place command gave him an off switch that allowed him to relax throughout the day. My wife and I became leaders. All of this unlocked an amazing world for our boy, and today he enjoys off-leash trail runs, pack hikes with many other dogs, and a rare type of companionship where he comes along wherever we go. There's a lot more to say about what this program has done for our family and our amazing pet, but I'll leave it at this: these folks are some of the most knowledgeable, trustworthy, and effective trainers in the business.
