Flash Dog Training

I took my 2 year old rescue pug Dream to Flash to help her with her hyperactivity and anxiety issues. Ali completely transformed her and was so thorough with helping train me as well to keep up with Dream's training. My relationship with my dog has a night and day difference. I can comfortably take her on walks without excessive outbursts of energy to the point where I can barely control her. Now, we can play at the park and go for walks with no worries at all! Her personality is still there, but she now feels more comfortable in herself. I can't thank Flash enough for their help with my hyperactive rescue, and I can't wait to maintain this training using their tools!

My son’s dog, Wallace, went to the 3 week board and train program in August. Wallace is a 2 1/2 y/o springer spaniel who is the most excitable springer we have had in 30 years, and had a few behavior issues. After going through the Flash training program, he is a different dog. He is now responsive to all his commands, is extremely impressive with his “place” command, and has learned to contain his excitement, but able to “let it all go” when he is “free”. The relationship between Wallace and my son is so full of love now, rather than stress. Wallace is also doing amazing off leash which is something my son always hoped for with his dog. He is such a love, and we are so grateful for Flash Dog Training. They are amazing.

When our first dog Mabel came home from Flash, we were blessed with a newly transformed family member and a whole toolbox of skills that both she and us would use for years to come. After a few years of sharing our lives with our well trained companion Mabel we brought a new pup Lloyd to the fold. Even before heading off to puppy camp, Lloyd was already listening for cues and watching the older Mabel for role modeling. The staff at Flash have been extraordinary. Amanda who helped our Mabel transform from being fearful and reactive to a loving and attentive companion. She gave us critical skills that help us communicate with Mabel and allow us to go anywhere with her without fear of problems. Ali, who is helping with our new addition Lloyd is a fantastic reminder of those skills along with some new ones specifically for puppies. The professionalism of Flash is second to none. They answer every question with ease and provide solid suggestions for handling unusual situations. I can’t recommend them enough.

Shortly after we adopted our pup Mabel we began to see negative behaviors from what we believe to be a result of her background before she came to us. We noticed immediately that she would bolt out of the front door when it was opened. There were two occasions when she got out and tried to attack two dogs. Mabel had been returned previously because she was running off. We didn't want to give up on her so we began to look for training for Mabel. We knew that she would need a lot of time and care to help her overcome her trauma. We knew it would take a special place with special people to take her because of her aggression towards other dogs. I began to look for board and train programs and that's when I came across Flash. I read the incredible success stories so I called and talked to Amanda. Amanda was wonderful! She took the time to ask questions about Mabel and what behaviors we were seeing at home and what our concerns were. She recommended Flash's three week e-collar board and train program. It sounded like the perfect fit so we signed her up and she began training a week later. When Mabel came home from Flash she was a completely different dog. She was a happy, calm and relaxed girl. Her last day of training was a huge milestone for her because she was now trained to be off leash. That is huge! We were so proud of her! I could go on and on about just how much the trainers at Flash love and care for every dog that comes into their care. The training is nothing less than outstanding. We now have our new puppy Lloyd at Flash for the two week puppy sleep away camp. I just can't say enough great things about Flash and Mabel's trainer Amanda. We are tremendously grateful for all they have done for Mabel's success story.

It’s been a month since Wallace has been back from training; and it’s been nothing but great! Wallace used to be an out of control pup that would act before thinking. And was often in a manic state of mind. Now, he’s a calm and well behaved dog, that’s very enjoyable to have around. Main benefit in my opinion is being able to see him relax and be at ease, in addition to being great at recall and listening to commands. Thank you, Ali!
