Flash Dog Training

It’s hard to articulate how grateful I am for Flash and for Ali! I rescued a 2yr old husky mix over the summer and brought her to flash for the 3-week training program a few weeks after bringing her home. My dog (Phoebe) was struggling w/ overall anxiety, severe separation anxiety, and on-leash dog reactivity. Edit from 5 to 3 stars: Ali switched locations and new trainers took over. I didn’t have as good of an experience (with boarding or training refreshers) — my dog was uncharacteristically anxious at drop off and pickup, and after a few months I ended up finding both a new trainer and boarder. Ali was fantastic, though!

We have a dog who we love! She is part of our family. During her teenage phase she became impossible to take anywhere. We would leave her at home rather than take her on outings. Her behavior worsened because she was always stuck at home. We were recommended Flash Dog by a friend. After 3 weeks our friend is back. She is a joy to be around. Initially I was turned off by the “shock collar” but to call this a shock collar would be to admit there is no difference between the newest iPhone and the old rotary phone that grandma had. Amazing technology that has turned our furry friend back into a wonderful member of our family. Excellent communication, excellent results, highly recommend.

Brooklyn and her team are absolutely amazing!! My boy Ryder is an extremely energetic golden/aussie mix. Although he’s a lover, I had a hard time bringing him in public or having people over because he couldn’t contain his excitement. Sure, he’d listen to me perfectly when it was just us, but put him around other dogs or people and it’s like his ears turned off. So what I was really looking for is advanced training and that’s exactly what we got! I feel so much more confident now in my ability to teach him and trust him out in public and with others. I know that he can handle listening to me even in chaotic situations. Their team is amazing!

I highly recommend Flash Dog Training. Our dog Pipper used to be extremely reactive to other dogs, tug on leashes, and be inconsolable/barking excessively when neighbors walked by. We now have all the tools we need to communicate with her effectively and her whole demeanor has calmed down with the help of her new tools. Brooklynn is an incredible trainer. Beyond the 21 day board/train program, the ability to train for a whole year with Brooklynn’s help makes flash dog training a great value for money. We feel thoroughly supported in all we need to maintain and continue developing Pipper’s skills. Thank you so much Brooklynn and the rest of the team for helping Pipper have the life she deserves! Brooklyn & her team in Broomfield are just amazing! They helped me ecollar train my 2 year old Bully mix so that we can have better communication & build more trust. During her two weeks at training camp, the Flashdog team made both her & I feel reassured that she was comfortable and well taken care of!
