Fit N Trim Dog Training

I currently take 2 classes at fit n trim with my 3 year old German shepherd. I’ve had Jess, Diane, and Bunny as my instructors so far. All 3 of them while individuals of course are all similar in the way that they have truly fantastic teaching styles, knowledge and are so kind/patient. I’ve never done group classes before, but the atmosphere is welcoming and fun! They truly care about the wellbeing of the dogs and try to be as flexible as possible in terms of making sure each dog is comfortable during class. I hope to be able to continue classes in the future there and am so grateful to be near such an outstanding facility!

Signed up for a $55, 30 minute private agility lesson for my 5 month old dog on a Saturday at 2:30pm in July of 2025 with Kris. They emailed me the wrong payment link and I had to ask for clarification (they asked me to bring a check instead- no problem). Got there early and no one was there. At 2:33pm, a woman looking bewildered walks up to me and my dog and asks, "What's going on here?" I explained I had a class scheduled and her reply was, " Oh, I did set that up for you. I'm surprised Kris isn't here. Let me get my phone. You wanted agility, right? How old is you dog?" Those are things we already discussed in the email chain. Long story short, I waited another 15 minutes for Kris to arrive with a less than enthusiastic "sorry I was late", she let me dog smell around and wanted us demonstrate some tricks he already knew, she did give a few good tips and let him stand on a table and walk a plank, she watched us walk together, she then tried to sell us her "sniffing dog group class" the last 5 minutes. After the 30 minutes, she turned the lights off and pulled away in her car faster than my dog and I could even get in our car. Not organized, no true explanation on why they forgot about my lesson, not a lot of agility going on, and Kris couldn't wait for the lesson to be over. Not a great experience, and I don't plan to return! They sent me an email right after asking if a wanted to do a group class...I don't think so.
