First Choice Canine

My family is thankful the day we met a stranger who told us about KB and his team at First Choice Canine. By this time we had tried various training classes and even medication but nothing seemed to get our dog over his fear or aggression of other dogs. Boomer had a bad experience when another dog went after him as a puppy. From then on things changed. We had trouble walking him. If we passed another dog he would growl and bark. He would even bark at the TV when a dog came on screen. We chose the board and train program which was a difficult choice. Boomer had never been boarded and boarding him for 4 weeks sounded like a life time. But, the team at First Choice Canine are professional, compassionate but most of all realize your dog is a family member. Boomer thrived. He is now home with us and still loves to snuggle and play ball but we can walk him without incidence. He has confidence. He listens to the commands he was taught. He walks without pulling and allows dogs to pass him without a thought. He also no longer barks at the TV. But our experience with First Choice Canine didn’t end after picking up Boomer - they are emailing us to make sure things are running smoothly and answering any questions we have. My dog was having increasing aggression issues that were beginning to really limit her quality of life and causing me a lot of stress. We decided to take her to First Choice Canine and it was the best decision we could have made. I only regret not doing it sooner. We learned that she is a working dog that needed a job. Khaled brought her back from being anxious and aggressive constantly, to being the lovely, happy dog we knew and loved. 6 years later she’s still doing great.

KB and his staff are true professionals. First Choice Canine has corrected behavior issues with our German Shepherd that we have struggled with for many years. He actually attacked our neighbor! While it was difficult to be without our beloved Bosun for a month, it was time and money well spent. It is truly amazing to have control of your dog and the best part is that you can see the pride coming from your dog when he knows he is doing his job well. Thanks KB!
