It always breaks my heart to write a terrible review for a small business. I wish I could speak to Lauren's skills as a trainer but I couldn't even tell you since we never met. To start I need to make an appointment for a call to make an appointment. I don't know if this is a tactic to pretend she is busier than she is but its an added layer of complexity for a busy professional. When we finally did connect, I didn't speak with her directly but rather someone who was covering. Following the call i was still interested despite being turned off on the initial customer experience. I had to follow up several times and ultimately my last email was "I’m really disappointed I haven’t heard back. I reached out weeks ago and don’t have the info I need-this has been a very challenging experience." I finally received a follow up *three* months later with a sincere apology for the ball being dropped. When I was offered a complimentary in person eval, I decided to start fresh and graciously took Lauren up on her offer as she seemed sweet and sincere. I was grateful for the complimentary sessions because her prices are astronomical especially for the area. We agreed on a scheduled time. When Lauren didn't arrive on time I checked in on her a few minutes later to make sure she was okay only to receive a response "on no, i double booked". Didn't take initiative to reach out sooner, no follow up, apology, nothing. Is this a joke? What kind of a business is this? So for professionalism and customer experience i give negative 5 stars. This is a terrible way to treat a potential customer. I ended up spending a lot of money on another trainer who is amazing so ultimately it was her loss. Please save yourself the headache and go to someone who deserves your money and make sure you check their credentials. This review is 9 months after the fact because i was too upset to write this until now but I wanted to make sure others are warn.
