Fieldstone K9 Academy

We couldn’t be more pleased in our experience with Fieldstone K9! Our Bernedoodle puppy was a bit of a handful and we knew she would be big. Since my 99 year old mother lives with us, and I am small, we knew we especially needed to be able to control the pup for everyone’s safety and happiness. Besides which, we want a well-mannered dog. Skye had loved and excelled in her first puppy obedience classes, but remained a bit of a stinker outside of class. And without a fenced yard - whoooo-boy!! Then a friend referred us to Stacey, and we enrolled Skye in Puppy Boot Camp. She LOVED it!!!! She loves Stacey, and was super excited and happy to go to camp each day, learned in leaps and bounds. Our goofball quickly gained manners, learned to listen and exhibited the calm sweetness we knew was in there somewhere. :) She listens now, minds well, and has joyous freedom to rollick in the yard with her e-collar. Stacey has patiently worked with us also so we can learn to be consistent and most effective. We plan to do periodic tune-ups as we go along. Plus Skye adores visiting Stacey and the farm! Stacey’s technique and knowledge are amazing. Her skills are masterful, and truly inspiring. Worth every penny!!!

Stacey is great at what she does! We went for basic obedience training and learned so much. I loved seeing my dog get excited every morning to go to her training lessons. I never thought my dog would be capable of going to Home Depot and actually sitting still! Now with our new baby I don’t have to stress if my dog will be misbehaving or not listening. We’re so much happier and confident because of Stacey’s training!

We have a full-bred 105-pound Anatolian Shepherd female about 2 1/2 years old that we recently rescued from a shelter in southern Ohio and given the breed and genetic temperament and unknown history (other than she was found in a forested area raising eight puppies), we wanted a trainer with large breed knowledge, education, and experience to help us. We enlisted Stacey’s help in training the dog, Annie, (and us) manners, basic commands, specialized training in assisting one of us with balance, walking, and standing, and in becoming accustomed to city life, including traffic, other dogs, and distractions she probably chased down in the wild and ate. We cannot say enough about Stacey’s ability to understand Annie and interpret clues about her behavior so as to be able to teach her and guide her in her relationship with us. Annie has thrived under Stacey’s plan and we have learned much about training and working with Annie to improve her life and ours. We receive compliments every day about Annie’s behavior in public places, restaurants, and in the home. We have recommended Fieldstone K-9 Academy to other dog owners and unqualifiedly recommend Stacey.

Stacey’s training skills have blown me away!! I would never think to let Archie off his leash before his training but now I take him almost everywhere without even thinking about a leash. His obedience skills have gone from a zero to a 100 in just a few days! I have reccomended fieldstone k9 academy to a few people and I will continue to share it! Archie was so excited to go hang out with Stacey and his dog friends!

I cannot thank Stacey enough for the amazing work she did with my 5-month-old miniature dachshund. It is incredible how much Hank learned over 5 weeks. The knowledge, patience, and care Stacey showed made all the difference. Hank would run down the driveway with excitement every morning to see his Miss Stacey :) From day one, it was clear that Stacey is passionate about helping dogs and their owners.
