Cannot speak highly enough of Anthony and Fetching Feathers! We sent Lyla, our 8 month old GSP, to train and stay with Anthony for over a month. Not only were the kennels so clean, spacious and well maintained, she was even spoiled with heat lamps and a blanket as her stay was in February (on top of an already heated and insulated kennel). As for training, all we can say is the change in her behavior has exceeded our expectations! Before Fetching Feathers, Lyla really struggled with recall and pulling on her leash. Now we can happily report that she listens, comes on command (and to tone) and doesn’t pull/walks beautifully. Her place work is unreal and has made taking her out to breweries with us an enjoyable experience. Anthony took the time to teach us her new commands and walk us through her training to continue her progress at home. During her stay he was super responsive and provided great updates so we were never left wondering how she was doing. He truly treated her like one of his own pups and we had full trust she was in good hands. My husband and I call Anthony @fetching_feathers the dog whisperer. We started with 1-1 training with our 5 month old Brittany because she wouldn't recall, he had her recalling AND on birds within 15 minutes. Very impressed. The 1-1 trainings were very helpful and then his bird dog training is top notch. Now at 10 months old, our pup is on birds and can hold her "place" for extended time periods; even with other dogs trying to get her to play, thanks to all the work Anthony has put in with her and helped us work with her. Whatever it is your dog needs, Anthony and Fetching Feathers is the place to be. We trust him 100% with our girl.
