Fetch & Sketch Dog Training

We first found Fetch and Sketch when looking for help training our Bernedoodle puppy, Woody. Jillian was amazing; knowledgeable, patient, and truly invested in his progress. Thanks to her guidance, Woody learned so much and we felt confident as new dog parents. We were so impressed that we now bring Woody to daycare 3–4 days a week. He absolutely loves it! The environment is safe, fun, and full of friends, and he comes home happy and tired every time. Jillian and her team provide exceptional care, and we couldn’t recommend Fetch and Sketch more highly!

DO NOT GO HERE. I cannot even describe how horrible my experience was with my 17 week golden retriever puppy. We brought our dog here for his first ever day daycare, and I can only hope he’s not scared of the next one. When we got there, everything seemed fine except I found It odd that there is was excessive paint fumes. I didn’t say anything because they had just switched locations (per the owner). When I arrived around 2:45PM, I was still on a work call so i did not go in. I saw the girl that runs the daycare (not the owner) standing outside. I found this odd, but I assumed that the owner was inside. I later found out that she was not which means the dogs were fully unattended. When I walked up to the door, it was locked (red flag). Then woman opened the door slightly asked which dog was mine and then closed the door on me not inviting me in. I had this overwhelming feeling that I needed to go inside. When I got inside, every single dog was in a crate, many with crates that were way too small for them, and others that were shoved multiple to a crate (including mine). I was very emotional, seeing how distressed these dogs were and voiced that to the worker- I told her that I thought it was inhumane And she told me that they had to put them up to clean the floors. I then called the owner to tell her what I just saw, hoping that she would assure me that this was out of character, but she came with several excuse, excuses that it was necessary for the plumber. That was there (a story that didn’t align). When I told her that she needed to inform her clients and/ or not open her doors and/or not shove multiple dogs in the same crate and/or not put dogs in crates too small she informed me she had moved and didn’t have enough. Again, not acceptable. Jillian, the owner, Was very dismissive of me and was clearly distracted with other people when I was trying to express how I felt, So I told her that was all, and we will not be returning and that I will not be paying. She showed no remorse nor any awareness for how wrong the situation was. Only after my husband posted a review yesterday did she call me (I didn’t answer) and text me to give her a call to which I refused again. Further, my puppy, who gets worn out after an hour of play time (and naps for about 4+ hours), came home FULL of energy, went to the bathroom 3+ times immediately and had a dry nose. This leads me to believe they were locked up for a VERY significant amount of time (Despite the owner sending me a cropped picture at 2pm after an 8 am drop off). My biggest regret is not being able to take videos of the dogs in distress. The golden retriever in the first and second photo physically could not stand up in that cage and it was rocking from side to side with him freaking out. DO NOT GO HERE!

I would absolutely not bring your dog to this facility. My wife just picked up our 17 week old puppy from his first day at day camp. When she picked him up he was shoved into a crate with another dog he did not know in a crate that was much too small for the two of them. Others dogs were shoved in crates that were too small for them or with multiple dogs in crates too small. Our puppy was not even tired when we picked him up, which makes us believe that he was locked up all day. Jillian, the owner, made some excuse about the plumber being there. If the facility was not ready to be opened, it should not have ever been opened. I was already hesitant when she did not require any paperwork to be signed when we dropped him off, and all of my fears about this location were confirmed this afternoon. I always try to write positive reviews but I cannot let cruelty to animals stand. Read the other 1 star review posted here, I wish we had before dropping off our puppy.
