Ferry Good Dog Training

Ben helped us with our Border Collie, Coop, who was purchased to help on a homestead that is not yet ready for him, and as such he finds “work” to do in our backyard in our subdivision home. We have backyard chickens that Coop liked to herd and would get a little too aggressive with them. Ben’s training addressed a few different behaviors that have resolved the incompatibilities we were having with Coops tendencies and our current lifestyle. Have tools now to continue to see Coop become what he was bred to be, while also allowing him to be a pet in our home. Would highly recommend.

Ben is very knowledgeable, helpful, and a man of integrity! He came out to do the evaluation of our dog and was not only very thorough and observant, but very honest and said the issues could be easily corrected by just my husband and I teaching our dog some simple things and he didn't want to rip us off. He gave us great tips and advice. We are really impressed and if we need any help will definitely call back. You don't find people like Ben anymore. Definitely would call him for any dog training needs!

Ben is such a pleasure to work with—he has an innate sense of how to communicate with all three of our dogs, and changed our ability to manage them in such a positive way. Not only is he a wonderful teacher for our dogs, he also is a great teacher for us! Ben showed great patience in helping us learn how to continue instilling the good habits he taught our dogs. We couldn’t be more thrilled with Ben’s work, and highly recommend him!

Ben is naturally great with animals. My dog Penny is nervous around new people, but boy does she love Ben! We also moved a couple times which was rather traumatic for her. Ben was able to work with us so she could be left home without issue. Penny is still wary of new people, but a little less. Though she doesn't care much to be part of a pack, her work with Ben has allowed to her to at least be present around other dogs without much issue. His knowledge and expertise is invaluable and we're still able to work on his suggestions with both our dogs.
