Ferry Good Dog Training

Ferry Good Dog Training was recommended to us by another friend, And we couldn’t be happier with the outcome of our Maggie‘s time with Ben. We paired our summer travel with her boarding and training time with Ben and came home to a fabulous gift of a well trained, and well cared for dog. Our one year-old springer spaniel spent five weeks with Ben and Ferry Good Dog Training. During her time with him she perfected Quick recall, loose leash walking, place training, and actually sitting or staying down until she is told she can go. We are so happy with her progress and the difference having a well behaved/trained dog has made in our home! We would absolutely recommend Ferry Good Dog Training to anyone looking to enhance the abilities of their four legged family member! Thank you Ben!!

Super sad to report our experience with Ferry Good Dog training. We interviewed several different Dog Training options. And this was one of the most expensive ones but the “promised results” was the highest. We lost our best friend for 4 weeks and paid a ton of money for him to return to us in worse condition than when he left. Very disruptive and more vocal than ever. We were confused as to why his behaviors worsened when he returned but found his dog tracking collar displayed a significant amount of neglect 🥺 He just sat in a crate all day with a couple of short potty breaks. They sent us videos as “proof” of his progress but later found he was wearing a choke collar and a shock collar in the videos. Obviously any animal or human would obey if they were be injured/ tortured in the moment but it created no lasting meaningful change in his behavior. We reached out to Ferry Good numerous times and have only been met with defensive, dismissive comments and no additional training even though the contract clearly states “lifetime training” for the lifetime of the dog. It’s been over a month since our buddy returned and I’ve been given the advice numerous times from family and friends that have seen Umber since he returned to leave a review to hopefully inform others of the services received so it doesn’t happen to them 🥺 Update: your senior leadership team? Haha It’s just one guy in a trailer in Clarkes Hill. Ben, we asked for training or a refund and your response was that you weren’t going to help us at all and if we post a review you would take us to court for slander and false allegations. And you aggressively text messaged me yesterday and again this morning saying you weren’t going to help us and said we are not allowed to contact you again.
