Feels Like Home: Dog Care

Any time I travel I leave my dog with relatives since she doesn’t do well with change. She normally is isolated and gets sick to her stomach. This time around we had no choice but to look for a place. Due to booking last minute we expected to pay about $80-90 a night but it was way cheaper than that with the holiday rate. They were pretty booked due to the holidays but Kyle made room for Rosie. She’s never been to boarding and isn’t usually around other dogs so I was nervous leaving her with Kyle. He sent updates throughout my trip on how she was doing and it kept me at peace knowing she was in good hands. I love the fact that they don’t have them in kennels and treats them as if they were his own pets. We will definitely be bringing our Rosie again!

Kyle’s communication throughout our trip was outstanding; we received frequent photos and updates, which brought us so much peace of mind while we were abroad. During our travels, our dog sustained a minor laceration that required veterinary care. Kyle and his wife handled the situation with absolute professionalism and genuine compassion. They took her in for sutures right away, ensured she kept her cone on, administered her full course of antibiotics, and monitored her healing closely. Thanks to their attentive care, she healed beautifully. The team at FLHDC went above and beyond to make sure our dog’s every need was met. It truly felt like leaving her with an incredibly capable and loving family member. I cannot recommend Feels Like Home Dog Care highly enough. I wish them nothing but success as their business continues to grow.
