About Family Dog Training Center
We have been training dogs since 1977. Family Dog Training Center was formed in 1994 and continues to help families and their pets throughout Western Washington. We offer small group classes for puppy manners, home obedience, off-leash control, canine good citizen and therapy dog preparation, along with private lessons to help with common behavior problems. Our performance programs offer classes in everything from agility to conformation, competition obedience, rally, scent work, tricks and lots more. We offer classes 7-days a week, morning, afternoons and evenings in our 5,000 square foot facility. Visit our website or call us for more information.

They treat you like family, and your pup as well. Over the last year my dog and I have gone here for multiple classes. It seems as though they make a great impact on families enough so they return to classes and continue on with them. People know instructors by name, and their recommendations are genuine and tailored to fit your pups needs. Even during covid they've been fairly on point with their precautions.
Dont go here if you have a big dog that's a little defensive, they won't hesitate to kick you out on the first day.

Just completed Beginner Home Obedience with my dog Ridley Ori, we had a great experience with instructor Doug, and his instructor in training Chris, over the last 6 weeks. My dog has improved so much from day 1 and I still have so much to learn in regards to technique but at least I know what I was doing wrong and what to be aware of moving forward. Having someone to guide and and correct the basics has been extremely insightful and it was all done from a place of knowledge and continued learning. I look forward to Advanced Home Obedience and Canine Good Citizenship with my dog as we continue our journey.
