FirstBarkKathleen did a fantastic job with Willow (our 1-yr old White German Shepherd). Willow has been to Family Dog K9 Training for the puppy board and train as well as E-Collar training. She now walks well on a leash and is a totally different dog. Thanks so much Kathleen! :) Mike and Stephanie

We are a family owned business where we treat your pup like one of our own. Training is done in the dedicated training area in our home. Here at Family Dog, we specialize in creating a dog with household manners, one that listens to you consistently, and a dog that will “calm” on command. We talk with you to find out the things you are struggling with and customize your pup's program to address those issues. Lastly, when we send you home, we make sure that you have the tools and knowledge you need to take take it from here!

Kathleen did an amazing job training my 5 month old golden doodle Chloe. I tried working with Chloe but I could only get so far...I couldn’t get her past the constant nipping jumping and pulling on the leash. I called Kathleen and was impressed with what she told me she would do with Chloe, so I dropped Chloe off for the 7 day puppy program. I had full confidence in Kathleen but what she was able to do with this puppy was way above and beyond what I had expected!! Chloe learned all the commands Kathy had promised and so much more...she will stay in her “place” for extended periods, she walks perfectly on a leash, and no more nipping and jumping!! I love that Kathleen worked with Chloe in her home, she even took her out in the car. I would highly recommend Kathleen as a trainer, she was awesome!!!

Kathleen does an amazing job training dogs. She trained our Great Dane right before we brought our newborn son home so that we could bring our new baby home with peace of mind that our dog would listen to commands and be able to manage easier. We have also used her to board our dog while we are out of town on occasions, we love that she treats him like one of the family and we never have to worry how he is doing or what he’s doing.
