FirstBarkCathy Kowalski the executive director and my trainer is superb. My dog has made so much progress in the six months we have worked together. Cathy knows exactly what to do for any situation. This is a very well-managed nonprofit which deserves your support in any way that you can. I can't recommend it more highly.

Do you offer Board & Train as a Service?
We do not currently offer Board & Train as a service. Although we understand the appeal, there is much more value provided when the handler works with their companion and reinforces trust and attention to detail.

How long does it take for a dog to become a Service Dog/Therapy Dog?
This is completely dependent on how well your dog is trained to start, which will be evaluated during our first session. If you don't have a dog and one needs to be acquired, this would also be a factor, and the dog would have to be evaluated just the same.

Do you ever have fully trained Service Dogs to offer?
Yes, we have many Service Dog Organization partners, and occasionally there is an opportunity to match up a fully trained Service Dog with the Disabled individual.

Faithfully K9 is an extraordinary organization helping individuals step into their lives powerfully with a service dog at their side. Siggy has had training from some of the best organizations in the Denver area yet the work we have done with Sarah G. has taken us up 10 notches in the Service Dog World. Having a well trained service dog is integral in maneuvering and gaining the respect to be a contributing member of society. For anyone with a disability, I highly recommend working with Faithfully K9. They know the field and will help you know it as well.
After much searching and a lot of dead ends filled with scam artists I found Faithfully K9 and could not be happier with their services. Sarah is incredibly patient and positive and pragmatic in helping me and my dog be successful. It is a joy to spend time with her once a week.
I am so grateful for Faithfully K9 for helping me get back on my feet. My trainer is Sarah and she is SO knowledgable and sweet. I can't thank her enough for giving me this new sense of independence.

Cathy and Anne trained my first service dog, Maebe, prior to starting Faithfully K9. They made sure my dog was well-equipped to give me the assistance I needed, taught me how to continue working with her, and were compassionate and understanding of my challenges in public spaces throughout the process. They were also generous and kind enough to continue helping me when I needed it, long after they left the organization that provided me with the dog. When Mae’s retirement came up, I knew there was no one I’d rather work with and immediately reached out, thankful when they graciously took me on as a client. I’ll be driving two hours each way for each session with them and it will be worth every minute. Their methods and focus on positive reinforcement and the bond between handler and pup is second to none, and you won’t find better trainers out there. As a bonus, they’re also truly wonderful and kind people.
