As a consumer, I know that no business is perfect and it's always possible to have a negative experience at any business - even those I and/or others have usually had good experiences with. Which is why I always like to know how I might expect to be treated if I raise my hand and say "I'm unhappy with my experience", and it is in that spirit that I am writing this review today. We hired Bonnie to work with us on training our 6 month old Golden Retriever puppy. I wish we could offer a review confirming the professionalism and skills so many others have experienced with her, unfortunately we experienced her as disorganized, scattered, and unprofessional. While we had compassion for a personal health situation she disclosed that was likely contributing, this energy affected us all so strongly that we decided it was in our best interests to end the relationship. We sent her a short and kind email thanking her for the time she had given us, letting her know that the training style and personality were not the fit we were looking for, and cancelling the remaining sessions we had scheduled. Given that no trainer in the world is going to be a good fit for every dog and dog owner out there, we were expecting an equally short and kind response back expressing acceptance and best wishes. Unfortunately the response we got was a long one full of passive-aggressive defensiveness and blame-shifting. While we recognize that this might have been an old-school attempt to explain and/or salvage the relationship, it confirmed for us that our instincts were correct and it was indeed in our best interests to end the relationship.
