I received Saber as an adult dog and have now had the privilege of owning him for several years. He is from Mario’s lines, and before I share more about Saber, I want to speak to what an absolute pleasure it has been to work with Mario. As a first-time working-line German Shepherd owner, I truly appreciated the time and care Mario took before Saber came home with me. He made sure that Saber and I were a good fit and, equally importantly, that I was prepared and suited for the responsibility of owning and working with a dog of this caliber. His love and dedication to his dogs are abundantly clear, and his knowledge and approach to training are exceptional. He has a way of explaining things that makes them easy for the handler to understand while consistently demonstrating a genuine concern for the dog’s well-being and development. Now, to get to the pup himself! Saber was approximately a year and a half old when we began working together. He is now five years old and remains in excellent health. He is exceptionally well behaved and came to me already crate trained. To this day, he continues to enjoy his crate and is incredibly comfortable with his routine. Saber receives compliments everywhere we go, and I attribute so much of what makes him such an incredible dog to Mario’s breeding, his foundational work with Saber, and the guidance he has continued to provide me as a handler. Saber has an incredible “off switch.” He knows when it is time to work and when it is time to relax, which has made him an absolute pleasure to live with. He is confident, well-mannered, and adaptable, and I am incredibly grateful for the foundation that was established before he ever came into my home. I would wholeheartedly recommend Mario to anyone looking for a German Shepherd, whether they are considering a puppy or an adult dog. I would also highly recommend him as a trainer. His ability to communicate effectively with both the dog and the handler is something I have personally benefited from, and his approach has made a tremendous difference in my experience as a first-time working-line GSD owner. I am incredibly grateful to Mario for the dog he entrusted to me and for the knowledge and support he has provided along the way. Saber is truly an exceptional dog, and I feel very fortunate to call him mine.

I boarded my Malinois puppy, Akira, with Mario for 7 weeks and I am very happy with everything she learned. Her obedience is solid and she learned a lot of really useful commands. Through the follow up sessions, Mario taught my partner and I how to follow through with what she learned and how to give her an outlet for genetic fulfillment. I am very grateful to Mario for all his help and I encourage anyone with a puppy or a reactive dog to invest into training. It really does help and is worth the investment so you and your pup can have an enjoyable life together.

Where do I begin! 10/10 recommend Mario for your dog training. I have a 1 year old German Shepherd. He is a good boy but was extremely selective with his listening. He never grew out of his playful biting which became painful as he grew (he is around 80lbs) and he was developing some protective aggression with anyone he wasn’t familiar with. He also was a very big leash puller which made it hard to walk him as I’m a small female. I reached out to Mario and he took Rocky for board and training. I was initially amazed at how well Rocky took to him. I was worried he was going to be aggressive upon meeting Mario. Rocky loved him! After his first sniff of Mario, his tail was wagging and he was bringing Mario his toys. I instantly felt so comfortable with Mario having him for a decent length of time. Mario had Rocky for a total of 5/6 weeks. During the first 4 weeks, we communicated once to twice a week about Rocky. He answered every phone call, was always kind and always willing to answer any questions I had. He sent me videos and photos as well to show Rocky’s progress, which I loved and appreciated so much. After the 4 weeks, he brought Rocky home for an hour or so to see us and see what still needed correcting. I couldn’t believe my eyes!! No more pulling, no more biting, no barking at a stranger on our walk. I was amazed at the change in my dog. Mario began to teach us how to properly speak to Rocky, walk Rocky and correct him. This is my first dog and a big one at that, and I was so relieved that he had so much patience. I was definitely nervous because I don’t want to ruin all this progress. He helped me with my posture, my demeanor and had patience as it took me a little time to become comfortable with what he was teaching me. After this meeting, he took Rocky back for another week to correct a few more things. Rocky is back home tonight and he is a different dog. Still his happy, silly self - but so much better behaved. Rocky was sooo stubborn before this and Mario was able to change that. We are so happy with Mario and his work. Thank you Mario!! You are an angel and we appreciate how you’ve helped so much!

I have boarded my dogs multiple times with Mario and I would not trust anyone else with them . Besides him always taking great care of my dogs , I also train with him for dog sport. He is by far the best trainer and decoy I have ever worked with and I have worked with alot of different trainers . He is extremely fair to the dog and has the patience of a saint . I cannot recommend him enough to people .
