I reached out to Carlos to help us with our Great Pyrenees/Pit mix rescue Charlie. Shortly after we adopted him, he showed what we thought were signs of aggression. Within the first year, he was involved in multiple fights, mostly with our other lab mix rescue, Arnold. Our previous trainer actually tried to convince us to rehome Charlie, that he wasn’t a good fit for our family. After coming to our home and observing both dogs, Carlos helped us to understand that it wasn’t aggression, but more of a dominance situation. It was his knowledge and explanation of dog behavior that eased our tension and anxieties, especially for our young teen daughters.
We are now at the point of being able to walk together using the heel method and I can actually walk them together peacefully. This is something I have not been able to do in over a year! We are currently working on different obedience tactics to be applied when our family goes to campgrounds.
Not only is Carlos extremely knowledgeable, but he’s also very friendly and easy to talk to. He truly listens and he makes the training sessions very easy to understand. Having Carlos help us with Charlie and Arnold has made such a huge difference!

Carlos is a really great obedience trainer. Carlos does a really great job of explaining why the training methodology works. He came as a recommendation from another friend and I would certainly recommend him to anyone.

I have been working with Carlos for over a year now and he is fantastic! His patience, expertise, and desire to truly help clients is amazing. His extensive work with e-collars has paid dividends for my dog’s behavior and demeanor. He uses it as a tool to build comfort and confidence in dogs, never as a punishment and I am so grateful for the work he has put into our dog!
